Canopy is designed to support small-scale coffee growers by offering personalized agricultural support, advisory services, and decision-making tools.

We collect personal details such as your name, phone number, preferred language, and regional location. We also collect information about your plantation, including its name, boundaries, crops, and farming activities. You may choose to submit media such as photographs or voice notes to document your work or receive advisory responses.
In addition, we collect technical and device information such as your device model, operating system version, app usage statistics, and logs that help us monitor app performance and identify bugs. We may also collect location data when you geotag plantations or request weather updates, but only with your permission.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to deliver tailored support to help you manage your plantation effectively. Your data allows us to provide localized weather information, generate farming advisories, recommend timely actions, and help you plan agricultural activities in advance.
The information you record—such as expenses, activities, or observations—contributes to a digital record of your farm. This helps you track progress and receive better recommendations over time. We also use some of the collected data to improve the overall performance and functionality of the app, including responding to technical issues and enhancing user experience.

3. Legal Basis for Processing
We collect and process your data with your explicit consent, which you grant when you register and use the app. In some cases, processing may be necessary for delivering the services you request or for meeting legal obligations. Where applicable, we may also rely on our legitimate interest in improving and operating our services securely and effectively.

If you choose to stop using Canopy, you may delete your account at any time, and your associated data will be removed unless required to be kept by law. Diagnostic logs and temporary system data may be stored for a limited time to support performance improvements, after which they are deleted.

Canopy is intended for adult users, particularly coffee growers and agricultural workers. The app is not designed for or directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have unintentionally received information from a child under 13, we will promptly delete it.

8. Your Rights
You have the right to access the data we hold about you, request corrections, or ask us to delete your information. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, which may affect your ability to use certain features of the app.
